This is a complete edit of 'The Real Thing' and 'Part 3 Into Paper Walls'. 'The Real Thing' goes for over 6 minutes and is an iconic Australian masterpiece. Due to the length, it was officially called 'The Real Thing Parts I and II' essentially to enable radio stations to play the first half of the song, call it 'The Real Thing Part I' and keep it the usual 3 minute length.

Released in August 1969 as a follow up to 'The Real Thing', this single, backed with 'The Girl That I Love', reached #1 and spent 17 weeks in the charts. Whilst sounding similar to its predecessor, it had much better sonic quality - written by Johnny Young and Russell and produced by 'Molly' Meldrum.
